Mr Choc
Although a member of the Beat Junkies since'96, you probably wouldn't recognize Los Angeles turntablist Mr. Choc as one of the more powerful DJ's in hip-hop. Mr. Choc's unique style has won him such accolades as Best Rap Radio Show at the 2000 Gavin Music Conference and DJ of the year at the Mix Show Power Summit in 2000. When he's not teaching students the basics of DJ'ing, this Power 106 mix-show coordinator, assistant music director and mix-show DJ can be found co-producing Soundbombing III with Cipha Sounds.
Hapa is the Director of Scratch DJ Academy LA as well as one of the Academy’s head instructors. When Hapa is not running the day to day at Scratch LA, he’s rocking the party circuit throughout Los Angeles and performing with up and coming acts such as Far-East Movement and Watts City’s own, Stix. In addition, you can also see Hapa jumping out of planes, flying planes, and racing everything he can on the International Channel’s new show X-Bytes. |
