Adrian Quesada’s Boleros Psicodélicos
Adrian Quesada is your favorite musician’s favorite musician—an artist whose visionary songwriting blends genres, crosses borders, and bridges generations. His sound nods to tradition while pulsing with innovation and youthful energy. He’s earned the love of millions of fans, but perhaps more meaningfully, the deep respect of his peers—many of whom joined him on stage Saturday night.
A true guitar virtuoso, Quesada leaned into fuzzed-out riffs dripping with '60s psychedelia. His all-star backing band brought the mood to life with pounding drums, sparse guitar stabs, and organ melodies that oscillated between romantic and haunting. This was mood music melting in acid.
His guest performers - Trish Toledo, Angélica Garcia, Mireya Ramos, Gaby Moreno, and Cuco - sang with all their hearts during unforgettable appearances. Even Sly5thAve, who recently cemented his legacy as an all time GP great with his Dr. Dre symphonic tribute, came out to play sax with Quesada during his set’s final act.
It was pure romance and magic, and his collective of artists were just as enthralled by the experience as the audience was.
