DEEP 25th Anniversary
If you can fill California Plaza with a crowd that dances all night, you’re doing something right. And that’s exactly what Marques Wyatt delivered with his epic DEEP 25th Anniversary set this past Saturday. A legend on the decks, Wyatt flexed across house styles—tribal, Latin grooves, disco, tech, soulful vocals, and bass-heavy bangers—keeping the floor bouncing.
Big Cee set the tone with a vibrant opener, while QVLN emceed with charisma, backed by live congas and samba dancers in full regalia.
A towering video wall and sound-reactive lights gave the night an extra edge, transforming California Plaza into a pulsing, glowing dance temple.
This was DEEP at its finest: pure intention, impeccable execution, and a loving community lifted by music.
**We also want to give a massive shoutout to everyone who participated in our highly successful Music Changing Lives donation drive. LA showed so much love for this wonderful music mentorship and mutual aid nonprofit, to the tune of:
125 sketchbooks
204 sets of colored pencils / pens
59 toothbrushes
80 tubes of tooth paste
91 sticks of deodorant
48 packs of body wipes
and over a hundred individual online donations!
