Music of the Bokharan Jews

As part of the Los Angeles Festival, this New York City-based vocal group of immigrant artists from Uzbekistan (in the former Soviet Union), will tour the Southland. Lush vocal music from an ancient community that lived at the heart of the “silk route” will be accompanied by musicians playing instruments rarely seen in America.
