2026 GP Youth Workforce Program - Production Interns

Description:

GP is hiring five (5) Production Interns as part of the first cohort of the Youth Workforce Program, made possible by the Snap Foundation. The program equips young people with the skills, confidence, and professional networks needed to thrive in the creative economy. Interns will participate in classroom and hands-on training; shadow audio, video, lighting, front of house, and stage management staff at GP summer season shows; and connect with Production Professionals to learn more about their pathways to careers in this field.

Qualifications: 

  • Must be between 18 - 23 years old at the start of the program

  • Available to work evenings and weekends at performances during the 2026 Summer Season

  • Express an interest in a career in Production and/or Arts and Culture

Additional Program Notes: 

  • Interns will complete 260 hours total, beginning on the week of June 15th

  • The Program will take place on Thursdays - Saturdays (2 Days of Instruction + 1 Mentor Shadowing Day), approximately 8 hours/day

  • Pay rate: $20.00/hour

  • Internships are Part-Time/Temporary positions
