This 26-year-old actress/poet is celebrated within the underground poetry scene for her ability to blend wit, honesty, outrage, compassion, and an authentic hip-hop sensibility. A self-proclaimed “zebra” (Black father, European/Caribbean mother), Jones spent a lifetime switching roles. She brings to the stage, perpetrators and victims of hate ranging from a white supremacist looking for positive publicity to a Russian woman with a knack for making cornrows.
