Locally-based choreographer Hae Kyung Lee draws upon the training from Ewha University in Seoul, UCLA, and Martha Graham to create works that combine the aesthetic and spiritual strengths of her Korean ancestry with a contemporary and post-modern sensibility. Her new site-specific work, “Ancient Mariner” will feature an original score performed live by award-winning composer Steve Moshier and his acoustic/electronic chamber ensemble, Liquid skin.
